Annette has worked in education for 38 years as a teacher and school executive, including 21 years as a school principal and two years as a Principal School Leadership consultant within the Department of Education where she designed and presented workshops on the Australian Professional Standard for Principals and the Standards for Teachers. She is a life member of the NSW Primary Principals Association (NSWPPA) and has a strong belief in school based professional learning programs to drive school improvement.

She has led large schools in varied socio-economic settings and now leads communities of practice across a number of schools supporting developing school leaders, validation against the Australian Professional Standards for Principals and various school improvement initiatives including Instructional Rounds.

Annette leads Gettysburg’s Education practice, focused on developing and supporting leaders in school education.
